I also feel very grateful for your gift to the world. I can feel you in my heart.

I opened space last Friday for a group of finance leaders and students, who loved it ,
I talk about you like an old friend

I Will remember till my last days how you told me (and to so many others ;) that I work too hard.

I will miss your stories

Dear Suzanne

Thank you for letting us know. Harrison is a remarkable spirit who could speak his truth in a million ways so anyone could understand. He had a profound and lasting effect on me and how I show up in the world and I will be forever grateful.

Pax tibi, Harrison.

Dear precious friends and colleagues,

Last night Barry Owen reached out to me to say that his dad had passed away... peacefully a few hours earlier in Camden Maine.

He briefly described that Harrison had prepared his family, friends and colleagues well for this moment. Staying in touch and connecting, opening and holding the space.

And that space will always be open, said Barry.  "He's still holding the space now...

Earlier in the day, Barry had also shared a love note with me that he wrote to his dad. I asked if he/we could post it here feeling that the message speaks to all of us — his Global Open Space family. He heartily agreed.

Barry was back on the job this morning, in a way, honoring his father's wishes that none of us work too hard or make too much of a big deal of him leaving us.  Of course we know that's impossible for a billion reasons.

But for now as we sit together in this big global circle, grieving and missing him,  with hige blank white sheets in the middle of the virtual floor, each of us expressing our thoughts, feelings and memories, captured in a very special future Book of Proceedings, HERE..the love note that Barry send to his to his dad. Dear friends in the Open Space circle
I am listening to one of my favorite music, which I usually play during morning/lunches/evenings etc when using OST (Secret Gardenhttps://open.spotify.com/track/4zHzxmGa8ywcOBBvPvnYcp?si=c6cfcce5910a484d, a Norwegian group), while mourning and being with my beloved community including my dear friend and mentor Harrison. Thank you my friends for your words of comfort!

Peggy, I feel goosebumps from your words  that even more space is being opened for us all…
I will take that thought along when I go to sleep in a little while.

With love and appreciation for all that I have learnt from and with you Harrison and everyone else on this OS-list

As I browsed this thread backwards this morning, it took a few moments for this sad yet inevitable news to sink in.  Harrison has left us and I sit in tears of gratitude for the lessons of love embodied in his “practice of peace”.  OST is an integral way of life for me, personally and professionally.  Bless you Harrison.

HarrisonWith gratitude for the gifts, given and received,

nurtured with intention,

expanded by experiment,

sustained with spirit…

Your clay shape concludes,

your soul free to soar,

eternity beckons…

May the road rise to meet you
