We have had much discussion about OST and Self Organization. For those who wish to pursue this subject more deeply, there is a marvelous book, only recently translated into English, which is an absolutly MUST read. Available at Amazon, and elsewhere I am sure — it is authored by Ilya Priogene and Isabel Stengers with a marvelous introduction by Alvin Tofler (Future Shock).  The title is: Order out of Chaos: Man’s New Dialogue with Nature.” Since the 1960’s when Prigogene introduced the western world to Self Organization with his Nobel winning research on Disapative Structures — He and Stengers have quietly worked away in Belgium deepening the research and expanding its reach. I believe this book to be truly revolutionary, and it may well rank as one of the critical turning points in our understanding of the univerce we live in. It is not an easy read — best savored, shared and thought about.
