Dear Jo
I have just booked myself into the WOSONOS in Berlin - a few short weeks
away - cannot wait to connect with you, all your co-inviters and indeed
everyone. Bilbao refreshed my soul last year (thank you Gentza and all,
once more) - and I am looking forward to another 'deep cleanse' soon!
For advance notice, I plan to run a session on 'the poetry of open space'.
So might I invite people now, if you so wish, to begin framing some words,
some lines, some lyrics, some rhymes & rhythms to participate in the
session... Or you might want to wait until our clan gathering starts before
putting pen to paper / finger to keyboard / tap to phone... Either or
whichever way, please treat this as another small thread to touch and
savour the anticipation over the next few weeks.
Meanwhile - here's a poem I wrote a few days ago - just for your interest...
*Golden memories Straw filigree filaments fly off in the wake of the
speeding lorry, Transporting bales and bales of fine golden straw, Dusting
the motorway with the remnants Of hot cornfields, dried in the summer sun.
I wonder how far this lorry would have to go Before all its cargo has been
whisked and spun away by the breeze of momentum. And then I wonder if my
golden memories, like the straw, are inexorably Flying away too As I
journey through my life? *
Take care all

Dear colleagues,
we, the organiser of the World Open Space on Open Space 2023 in Berlin
would like to engage you into a conversation prior the conference in
October. We would like to to meet with a diverse, representative group of
participants for an online meeting on:
*May 22, 2023 *
*at 6:00pm (CEST) = 5:00pm (UTC) = 12:00pm (EST) *
*We plan to spend approx. 2,5 hrs together. *
You are one of those people who already bought a ticket, know you will
attend the WOSonOS 2023 or are thinking about coming.
We feel that this is needed in order to sort out a few things around the
configuration of our conference:
-
what exactly is the purpose?
-
what is the expected outcome?
-
what is the theme of the gathering?
-
what is the appropriated format: hybrid / face-to-face?
-
who should participate?
-
what about WOSonOS traditions?
We invite a mix of the people from different cultures, backgrounds, OS
experience in order to get the best possible outcome based on diverse
stakes.
It would be a privilege for us to see you at our meeting. Please let us
know in advance whether you will show up.
Warm regards
Juliane & Jo & Julia
