Hi Peggy,

Thankyou so much.

The idea of a single google doc for all group reports is great. It answers a question i had about how to most easily harvest groups. It also enables people to see, in real time, what other groups are talking about.

I’m presuming you have not had any technical issues with what could become a very long/big googledoc?

Are you able to protect the google doc from accidental deletion by a participant - i’m presuming only the original creator of the document (the facilitator) can delete it?

Cheers,

Hi Michael,

You’ve named one of the unexpected benefits of a single Google Doc for session notes when doing an Online Open Space. You can see what’s happening in other sessions without moving into the room.

To your question of accidental deletion by a participant, it’s a good question. I don’t know. I did a little searching to find an answer but didn’t find anything on point. It would be simple enough to test.

Peggy and Michael,

One of the benefits of Google Docs is you have version control and history.
You can always go back to previous versions if someone accidentally deletes
portions of a document.
