Dear OSList!
Uncertainty is everywhere these days. As Open Space practitioners, we
bring a critical antidote for organizations and communities. WOSonOS –
the World Open Space on Open Space – this year in Kenya is a place to
strengthen our capacity to be of service.
If you have considered coming, now is the time to register:
WOSonOS Kenya, November 6-8, 2025. https://www.wosonos2025.org/
Whether you can make it or not, the conference organizers have heard
from people who, with a little financial help, have something to learn
and something to contribute.
Among the sixteen who have already requested support: a filmmaker from
Liberia who is making an OST documentary, a conservationist from
Mombasa, and two Open Space facilitators from Ukraine.
The Open Space Institute-US will match up to $3,000of donations from you
to raise $6,000 so that together, we can support Open Space reach more
people. Our target date is to raise this by October 12, 2025 to give
attendees enough time to make arrangements, as they won't get there
without help.
The need for Open Space has never been greater! As Open Space
Technology’s creator, Harrison Owen, used to say, ...bring[ing]
wholeness, health, and harmony to our lives only happens when chaos,
confusion, and conflict are included and transcended.
Please give what you can…and share this

Contributions will primarily cover registration fees and in some cases
help defray accommodations and travel costs. The WOSonOS Kenya team is
prioritizing applicants based on travel distance and previous OST
experience, with particular consideration to African participants.
Open Space Institute US is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your
contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Paypay didnot work for me
is there another option to make a contribution?

Thank you for posting the request for support for helping people get to WOSonOS.
I was excited to see on the donation page the progress bar that says we’re slightly more than halfway to the goal!
I have contributed US$500 because, given everything happening in the world, Open Space is so needed now.
I know the people on this list know what a difference it can make. Every contribution, no matter how small, matters. As complexity science teaches us, small actions can have large consequences!
So, I join in the request: if you are moved to support the practice of Open Space around the world, please give what you can.
Hope to see some of you in Kenya!!
Warmly,
Peggy

Wow! I can't believe we've raised almost 4/5 of the goal in less than 2
days!
We only need to raise $642 to meet our goal.
Thank you to those who have donated and those who will donate. Thank you
for taking responsibility for what you love as an act of service.

Dear OSList,
Wow - the community so quickly stepped up to stand for a great WOSonOS
in Kenya. We're so close to meeting our goal. Right now we're only short
$242 to help us raise the requested $6000. Until we reach our goal, each
dollar you donate will count for twice the amount.
If you were on the edge, even just donating a small amount, every dollar
will help meet the expenses needed to get regional practitioners to the
event.

Dear OSList,
Thank you to our generous donors who have given over $4500, which will
make for a total donation of $7500 with the promised matching funds.
The fundraiser was going to remain open until October 11, but we will
close it today so we can send the funds to the Kenya WOSonOS team tomorrow.
Thank you!
Harold
