Help needed ...
Hi friends, will you help me ...?
I’m inviting into this world an “Open Living Room 2.0”; a permanent (real-world) communal living room – with dedicated space for learning from each other. You know what I’m talking about ...
A couple of months ago where I live in Porvoo, Finland, I found a space so perfect that I got fire under my butt, and now I’m trying to convince the world to help us here in our town setting up a prototype – the first milestone being 39 000 euro for the minimum lease …..... and so we've set up a non-profit organisation, websites, supporting memberships, gotten a small-scale fundraising permit ….. and now I’m calling for open and under-cover helpers …
I would like anyone available to look at this “chain”:
- the fundraising video linked below, and
- the page named at the end, and
- our website https://en.suotuisatpaikat.fi/
– and being up to speed, at any point you might recognise for the project a potential (no matter how tiny) nudge in a positive direction, to consider it … I guess everyone knows best when and where they might nudge something positively (and many helpful nudges or contributions have been other than money) …..

Hi Thomas,
I watched the video and looked at the website. I wasn’t sure what item 2 in your list referred to.
The video is heart warming! The site looked great, with a beautiful picture of the space.
What was curious to me is that you use “we” a lot. The video is never more than one person. Given what you want to create, what about a video that involves more people in some way?
And while you name the three people involved in the “About," there’s very little about who the three of you are that moves you to do this. Where’s the heart in the site that is in the video?
What I think could make it more attractive is to engage more people in its creation.
