Hi Thomas,

There were videos at this website which i don'see now:*
https://www.improbable.co.uk/open-space
https://www.improbable.co.uk/open-space*
At one of the videos, a child (Phelim's son i guess) was in the middle of
circle and all the sub groups
gathered one next to each other kind of. I liked that video as it
represented the inclusion, flexibility and
chaotic character of OST. Phelim can give more information if he reads the
emails.

Dear Annick, thanks for sharing, i like your new definition of OST,
especially the concept of* ''inspired''* actions.

Dear Roma, of course I know of Phelim and Improbable Theatre. I have the
pleasure to have met Varshini Pitchemuthu from Improbable at WOSonOS in
Berlin and in Istanbul. Their use of OST and videos are one of my
favorite guides in this area. Unfortunately I have

not yet had a chance to see TotoRo.

I love this conversation!

A wide open notion of Open Space is what drew me in from the start. My
first several OS events in the 1980s were for 100-200 persons for 3-5 days,
with themes like "Out of Control!" and "Down the Tubes!" that Harrison drew
from his first writings and budding theory of collective transformations.
Practitioners gathering to make some sense together.

These themes resonate pretty deeply in current times!

Warmly
Jeff

What you share Funda is of course a much deeper sense of being and moving
together in the wide open spaces.

To clarify, it was the larger themes, naming our felt sense of those times,
plus the expanding sense of "now" in the open space, finding our way in the
group field, that felt so powerful in my first experiences.

The deeper and actionable democracy, not present then, is inspiring and
timely now!

In both Open Space and Mirror Neurons, what unfolds is more than
decision-making or storytelling. It is the possibility of thinking (acting)
