The Open Space Institute-U.S. has opened registration for the annual
Opening Space for Peace & High Performance, an event happening since the
90's, formerly at International House and these last four times we've
moved online.

We've expanded our time zone coverage by holding 2 "circles", one for
North America and Europe, the other for Asia and the Pacific.

Americas and Europe: Friday and Saturday, January 12-13.
Asia and the Pacific: Saturday and Sunday, January 13-14.

https://osius.org/peace-high-performance-2024

We had 80 register last year for our online event. The Open Space
Institute-U.S. is inviting us to inquire who we need to be, to be the
invitation in the face of chaos, conflict and confusion of these times.

Hello OSList!

Opening Space for Peace & High Performance happens annually before
Martin Luther King's holiday.

That's just 1 week from now!

Each day we'll have 2 circles, one for the America's & Europe & Africa,
the second for Asia & the Pacific. The first circle starts 10am NYC 12
January. The second 10am Tokyo 13 January.

We already have an amazing group of just the right people
https://osius.org/civicrm/event/participant?reset=1&id=184 signed up.

If you haven't registered, click here
https://osius.org/peace-high-performance-2024 to join us.

Everyone is also welcome to attend our annual member meetup which will
happen on Saturday January 13 at 3:30pm est, in the middle of the second
day of the event. We plan to meet for about an hour through this zoom
link

Reply to this email if you have any questions.

Current Board Members: April Jefferson, Rijon Erickson, Susan Liao
(she/her) and Harold Shinsato

P.S. Two updates: as usual, we are inviting attendees who want to learn
about facilitating Open Space Technology online to step up to practice
the facilitation and producer roles for the openings and closings. We'd
also like to remind folks that our proceedings are eventually published
(such as last year's
https://osius.org/sites/default/files/Proceedings-OpeningSpacePeaceHighPerformance2023.pdf).
We give time for attendees to fix the proceedings before we publish. If
you don't wish any snapshots of your attendance to be published, let us
know in advance.

Dear Open Space Institute —U.S.

THANK YOU for hosting this! THANK you the reminder!

In the spirit of your words "BE the Invitation" and continually inspired by
Harrison's timeless call to action "How Do WE Engage 8 Billion People in
Meaningful Conversation?", Sharon Joy Kleitsch and I are taking to heart to
invite and invite for the upcoming Peace and High Performance gathering.
Networks of networks, colleagues and friends.

This upcoming virtual gathering cannot replace the "feeling" of being at
International House in New York City, but in spirit, we feel it fueling us.

Here is an image from the past that seems as poignant, urgent and relevant
now as ever.

Counting the days. So looking forward to being there on Friday into the
weekend!
