Thanks for your report Hulu and your story Gijs
Lovely to hear Open Space is well and alive in China. Congratulations to an important Open Space.
Last week I facilitated an OST meeting too. A diverse group of 45 persons who all have a passion for sustaining an old sewing factory and the buildings where it is. In the center of a small city. So much engagement and passion for working together to find sustainable opportunities.
There were 13 reports and 19 initiatives were listed before closing.
If you are on LinkedIn I did a couple of postings there

Dear Madam Song and colleagues,
What a wonderful report from your Zhengzhou Henan Open Space. I can just imagine Harrison smiling from above. It’s inspiring to see how you have opened spaces in the hearts of so many school principals.
It brings me back to my own first Open Space in Shanghai in 2009. Harrison had just withdrawn for health reasons and encouraged me to step in. How could I possibly replace Harrison? The preparation was stressful especially with many people warning me that “Asians would stay quiet” and that Open Space wouldn’t work. But as Harrison always reminded us: “It always works and anyone with the right intentions can facilitate.”
Wishing you and your colleagues, Mdm Song, all the best in continuing this important work.
Jia you

Dear Suzanne and all,
Hope you’re well.
I’m forwarding a message from Ms. Song from China who just did an Open Space in Henan province.
Yesterday I was invited to Zhengzhou, Henan to facilitate an Open Space hosted by the Henan Provincial Department of Education on the topic of "How to Promote Inclusive Education through Resource Centres and Resource Classrooms." Two hundred principals from across the province participated in the discussion. Every time I participate in an Open Space, I feel like Harrison is still with us. These principals were all first-time participants in this type of discussion and were deeply moved! They all expressed their desire to bring this approach to their own schools.
