Dear folks

I am excited to announce that my family book: The Mayor's Bear is now
available to order. I would hope that you would be inclined to order it
through a local bookshop near you - to support local businesses. You will
get the book very soon. (It is available online too - details below.)

But why this book?

When I was Town Mayor I was asked to open a new school library. I thought I
would take along a story about a Mayor to read to the children - but I was
unable to find one that worked for me. So I read them something else - but
I left with the idea of creating a story that I would want to read. And
this is it! As the back blurb says:

Help!! What is Town Mayor Roxie to do when she loses something very
precious to her and indeed, the whole town..? Just before she’s ready to
give up, along comes a small, magimistical bear called Strumbold… This is
the story of their adventure - about love, keeping promises and finding
magic in everyday stuff. It’s a book to be read out loud to the special
(big and small) people in your life. Amongst the kerfuffle, confusion and
difficulties of living in our world today… this story will help you
remember that there are still simple, important things like friendship,
kindness, cake and a Festival of Teddy Bears.

Enjoy!

Or - you can order via a Waterstones / Amazon / Barnes&Noble on a computer
near you too.

https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-mayors-bear-jon-harvey/1146406097?ean=9781789634570

and other online bookshops in your neck of the woods (it's available in
Japan, Estonia, Australia and Canada - I have learnt so far).
